Web Design for Howell Services of Rosenberg Texas
We recently finished a new project for Howell Services plumbing and ac located in Rosenberg Texas. They just wanted a fresh look for there site. So keeping their current php framework, we updated the design with some new colors, icons, and images. We also added some new web forms for customer feedback and appointments.
Here’s a screen shot of the new Howell Services.

Facebook Opens Timeline To All Business and Brand Pages
Facebook opens it’s Timeline feature to brand and business pages. This has been a long time in the waiting. We’ve done a quick cover design to show how the new layout looks.
Here are some tips and features (from Facebook):
1. Your Cover Photo
Your cover photo is the first thing people will see when they visit your page. Make a cool graphic of picture, the dimensions areĀ 851 x 315 pixels. Change it as often or as little as you want.

2. Your Profile Picture
Your profile pic represents your brand in the news feed and your page. Usually companies will upload their logo here. Dimensions are 180 pixels.
3. Highlight What’s Important
Now at the top of your page, you see what used to be your tabs. (Photos, apps, welcome page, etc.) You can change the order these appear and have a maximum of 12 showing.
4. Review Your Content
Hover over a story and click the star icon to make it wider (feature), or click the pencil icon to pin it to the top of your page, hide, or delete the post.
5. Admin Panel
Keep track of your activity from the admin panel. This is where you view your page insights, activity log, and post activity.

6. Private Messages
Now people can contact pages using private messages. Notifications will appear in your admin panel.
Have fun and show us your new Timeline pages. Facebook.com/holladesigns

Breath of Fresh Air - Path App Review
I downloaded a new social app the other night called Path. To me, it’s a breath of fresh air to using Facebook. The interface is very clean and user friendly. You can upload photos, check into venues, tag friends, tag what music you’re listening too, and post status updates. One of the cool features I like it the sleep/wake up feature. You can tell the app you’re going to sleep, then when you wake up, click “awake” and it will have a little message, sometimes funny, with the amount of hours of rest you got. I have some photos below for you to look at. Check out their app at https://path.com
